IVO 2009 Congress
Madurodam
At the end of the first conference day, a social evening is planned in Madurodam, at which time national and international bonds will be strengthened in an informal setting.
All visitors and participants are invited to this exceptional event. For more than 55 years Madurodam has been the smallest city in the Netherlands. Canals, gabled houses and all kinds of other typical Dutch scenes: the miniature city offers you all the highlights of the Netherlands on a scale 1:25.
In miniature city Madurodam you will see the well-known buildings and scenes in The Netherlands replicated on a scale 1:25. The Parliament buildings of The Hague, the canal houses of Amsterdam, the Alkmaar cheese market and little trees and gardens, all replicated in minute detail. Windmills turn, ships sail and modern trains are tracersing the city on the world's largest miniature railway.
Jos America
Part of the IVO 2009 Congress is a visit to Jos America on the 14th November 2009 in the afternoon. Busses will take you to Vlijmen and back.
Jos America will open their new headquarter and production facility in 2009. IVO 2009 has made an interesting program in Vlijmen, which is a mix of scientific programma, interactive workshop and an informal banquet. Do not miss this part of the program!
The IVO 2009 program in Vlijmen on the 14th November 2009 is from 16.00- 21.30 uur in Vlijmen. Busses will take you to Vlijmen and back. From 19.00 every hour a bus will return to The Haque.
